Nine public companies have objected to the proposed trading of tokenized versions of their shares on OKXICE, putting a practical constraint on one of the first tests of the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s new framework for tokenized NMS stocks. The objectors are Cerebras Systems, AppLovin, Applied Digital, Rocket Lab, CoreWeave, Verizon, Applied Optoelectronics, Broadcom and UnitedHealth Group, according to an October 15 public notice from OKXICE . The important distinction is that this is not a collective corporate verdict on tokenized equities.
