Nine issuers have objected to a proposed tokenized stock venue run by OKXICE. Their decisions expose a narrow but consequential power in the SEC's new trading framework: a company can stop one unaffiliated venue from carrying its shares, while other forms of tokenization continue. OKXICE's October 15 notice lists 9 issuers that objected to its proposed tokenized securities venue. The SEC gives an issuer 30 calendar days after receiving notice to object to unaffiliated tokenization on that venue. OKXICE plans permissioned trading in Uniswap v4 pools on X Layer, pairing eligible stock tokens with 3 stablecoins.
