Netflix Hires Steve Wilson to Oversee Podcast Content Acquisitions

Netflix has hired Steve Wilson, a former Apple Podcasts executive, to oversee podcast content acquisitions, adding an executive with nearly 15 years at Apple to its podcast operation. Wilson will initially work as a consultant. He was among the earliest members of the Apple Podcasts team and later served as chief strategy officer at Daylight Media. More than 60 podcasts were available on Netflix as of Sept. 1. Netflix was also renewing its initial original podcast lineup for additional episodes.
