Datavault AI shares plunged nearly 50% after the Nasdaq-listed company said it has been unable to withdraw Bitcoin (BTC) held at Biconomy since June, putting a company-held crypto position at the center of the disclosure. The BTC came from a September 2025 equity transaction with Scilex Holding. Scilex agreed to pay $150 million in Bitcoin for Datavault shares and warrants. An off-chain transfer credited the BTC to Datavault's Biconomy wallet. The withdrawal difficulty began months after the deal. Scilex's agreement dates to September 2025, while Datavault said its inability to withdraw began in June 2026.
