SK Hynix posted a record third-quarter operating profit and plans a 2026 shareholder-return program worth about $75.4 billion, as demand for memory used in AI infrastructure continues to lift the chipmaker’s results. Revenue for the quarter climbed 328% from a year earlier, while operating profit was 7.3 times the year-earlier total. The return plan combines cash dividends with share repurchases and cancellations. SK Hynix said it completed last week a repurchase announced in August, with the shares expected to be canceled soon. The company expects memory-chip demand to exceed supply through 2030.
