NEAR Protocol (NEAR) rose 3.01% in one hour to $5.13 on Binance’s NEAR/USDT spot market Oct. 21, adding to a 7.21% gain over 24 hours. The Binance NEAR/USDT spot price was $4.98 one hour before the $5.13 reading. The hourly and 24-hour percentage changes cover different periods. The $5.13 figure is the price at the observation time, rather than a closing price. During the same hour, $240,000 in NEAR short positions were liquidated across Binance, Bybit and OKX, while long liquidations totaled $0. The short liquidations occurred during the period in which the Binance spot price rose.
