The end of October 2026 was marked by the largest incident in the history of the crypto market — the $6.3 billion hack of the Binance exchange . This case exposed the vulnerability of the instant exchange (swaps) infrastructure. While the automated systems of the North Korean group TraderTraitor withdrew $242 million via the Tron blockchain in the first two days, decentralized bridges and liquidity aggregators de facto became the main tool for legalizing the stolen funds. Against this backdrop, the head of NEAR Intents Alex Shevchenko issued a warning to cryptocurrency wallet developers.
