Mintive raised $7 million in a seed round announced Oct. 29, bringing its total funding to $11 million as it builds software for companies seeking to control how AI agents use cloud services. Cowboy Ventures led the financing. Coatue, Operator Collective and Hustle Fund also participated. Angel investors include former Google chief scientist Jeff Dean, who co-founded Discovery Loop; OpenAI co-founder Andrej Karpathy; and Okta co-founder Frederic Kerrest. Mintive’s platform lets information technology teams set rules for the cloud services AI agents can reach and the actions they can perform.
