Midnight Mainnet Passes One Million Transactions in Seven Months

Midnight Network had recorded 1,094,866 mainnet transactions at press time on Oct. 29, crossing one million within seven months as activity climbed into the tens of thousands. The network’s daily transaction count had reached 26,608 at press time, up 26,508% from 100 on Sept. 28. Activity reached 49,229 transactions on Oct. 25 before easing. Midnight also had 1,434 deployed smart contracts. The surge coincided with Midnight’s Sept. 28 opening of permissionless smart-contract deployment on mainnet. Developers no longer had to complete preproduction reviews or team audits before deploying contracts.
