Public Companies Hold 1.3 Million Bitcoin; 50 of 205 Bought in Six Months

Publicly listed companies held a combined 1.3 million Bitcoin (BTC) as of Oct. 29. Of 205 firms with a history of holding BTC, 50 bought Bitcoin during the previous six months. Separately, 44 of 100 newly formed Bitcoin treasury companies sold some of their holdings. The purchase and sale tallies count companies, while the 1.3 million BTC figure measures holdings.
