Meta AI Director Rohit Patel Plans AI Office Suite Challenger

Rohit Patel, a Meta Superintelligence Labs director, announced plans to leave Meta and build ndoc, an AI-native workspace positioned as an alternative to Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. The product brings presentations, written analysis, datasets and Python scripts into one workspace instead of adding an AI assistant to existing office software. Patel spent eight years building AI at Meta. In his farewell post, he wrote, “After 7.8 years at Meta, this is my goodbye post.” He said he planned to work on projects of his own. Patel’s current role with ndoc is founder and CEO.
