Meme-Token Category Hits $29.7 Billion as 79% of Pump.fun Tokens Trade One Day

The meme-token category had a market capitalization of $29.71 billion on Oct. 23, while six priced tokens in a seven-project comparison totaled about $20.27 billion. The category snapshot, taken at 2:16 a.m. ET (06:16 UTC), also showed about $1.86 billion in 24-hour trading volume. Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Pepe (PEPE) together represented $17.36 billion, or 58.4%, of the category’s market capitalization. The category-wide figure is broader than the seven-project comparison: MemeToro (MT), the seventh entry, had no comparable market quote. DOGE led the six priced tokens in both market capitalization and 24-hour volume.
