StarkWare Abstains as Starknet Poll Gives L1 Research 93.52% of Voting Power

StarkWare abstained from Starknet’s seven-day poll, which gave research into a quantum-resistant Layer 1 93.52% of voting power and left any network transition to a later decision. The nonbinding Snapshot poll drew more than 2,800 wallets. StarkWare abstained, leaving the decision to participating community members. The poll followed an earlier proposal to study a move to a standalone network . The vote backed further study; it did not approve a move from Ethereum Layer 2 to a standalone network. Any transition would require a separate governance vote after the research and design phase.
