Maple Leaf Foods Sets CAD 0.21 Dividend for Dec. 31 Payment

Maple Leaf Foods Inc. will pay a quarterly dividend of CAD 0.21 per share on Dec. 31, extending the rate set in January after its board approved the distribution Tuesday, Nov. 3. Shareholders of record at the close of business Dec. 17 will qualify. The quarterly payout annualizes to CAD 0.84 per share across four payments. In January, Maple Leaf Foods raised its quarterly dividend from CAD 0.19 to CAD 0.21, an increase of about 10%. The increase marked the company’s 11th consecutive annual dividend increase.
