NVIDIA’s new RTX Spark N1X platform has demonstrated a significant performance lead over Apple’s M5 Pro silicon in independent local AI agent testing, marking a shift in the competitive landscape for on-device inference hardware. The RTX Spark N1X laptop, which saw a worldwide release on October 16, 2026, was evaluated against the 14-inch MacBook Pro (M5 Pro, 64 GB) in the AA-AgentPerf-Local leaderboard . In the testing, the RTX Spark N1X completed the Qwen 3.8 27B agent replay workload in 18.7 minutes.
