The interoperability firm's new blockchain goes live with an exchange engine wired to more than a dozen trading venues and a ZRO buy-and-burn LayerZero has picked a date. Its Zero mainnet and the lzATLAS exchange engine are scheduled to launch on November 30, 2026, according to an announcement the company made on October 20. The pairing matters because lzATLAS is the first application built on Zero. It will arrive with an initial Open ATLAS setup supporting more than twelve trading venues. Zero is LayerZero’s own blockchain. The network targets up to approximately 2 million transactions per second.
