Kroger set a roughly 3% comparable sales growth target for 2029, excluding fuel and pharmacy, and reaffirmed its 2026 outlook Tuesday, outlining plans to expand digital sales and reduce operating costs. At its Oct. 20 Investor Day, the grocer set two more long-term targets. For fiscal 2027 through 2029, it aims for compound annual growth of 3% to 6% in adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization, or EBITDA, and 7% to 11% in adjusted net earnings per share. All three targets exclude Kroger’s pending acquisition of Giant Eagle.
