KLA Corporation’s fiscal first-quarter results and guidance topped Wall Street forecasts, while analysts cite backlog growth and visibility deep into 2027, with some initial orders scheduled for 2028. The results come alongside KLA’s existing outlook for the wafer fabrication equipment market: the mid-$150 billion range for calendar 2026 and more than $200 billion in 2027. The company’s earlier market forecast outlined those projections. Analysts identify leading-edge node transitions, greenfield fabs, DRAM and high-bandwidth memory demand, and advanced packaging as growth drivers. They also point to fab cleanroom constraints and competitors’ tool-delivery timelines as possible limits on growth.
