Kalshi Lists Taiwan Election Markets as Its Rules Bar Local Trading

Kalshi lists markets on Taiwan’s Nov. 28, 2026, local elections even as its agreement bars people in Taiwan from trading event contracts, placing a public listing alongside a geographic trading restriction. The listings include a Taipei mayoral race and a market on which party will win the most mayoral and magistrate contests. Their presence on Kalshi’s public site does not establish that people in Taiwan can place trades. Kalshi’s member agreement identifies Taiwan as a restricted jurisdiction. It bars event-contract trading by people domiciled in Taiwan, organized there or located there.
