Kaia Sets Nov. 17 Start Date for Manual Staking Migration

Existing public-delegation stakes in Kaia will need manual migration as Kaia transitions to a permissionless network, with withdrawal applications opening Nov. 17 and new staking deposits scheduled to start later that month. Existing stakes will not move automatically. Kaia Portal will open a migration menu on Nov. 17 and accept withdrawal applications through it. Kaia plans to publish a detailed user guide Nov. 13; withdrawals from old contracts and redeposits into new staking contracts are scheduled to open Nov. 26. The required process is to apply, wait seven days, withdraw KAIA and stake it in a new contract.
