Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi told ministers Oct. 26 to quickly consider and coordinate measures toward an emergency cybersecurity package following cyberattacks and major data leaks at Japanese companies. The government aims to compile the package within the next week. Ministers are to coordinate the proposals, including fiscal measures.
