Blockchain.com has opened an API trading service that gives eligible institutional clients round-the-clock access to its crypto liquidity. Orders go directly through the company rather than being routed across multiple venues. The service covers major cryptocurrencies, altcoins and stablecoins through a single interface. Its executable quotes include costs. Clients can trade without prefunding their accounts and choose settlement schedules that fit their operations. The API can connect with institutions’ existing trading systems. API trading expands Blockchain.com’s Institutional Prime Brokerage, serving more than 1,500 institutional clients with custody, staking, yield products and over-the-counter spot or derivatives trades.
