Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the owner of the New York Stock Exchange, has announced plans to introduce Hyperliquid -based perpetual contracts to U.S. retail participants through the platform Trade[XYZ]. This development follows ICE’s previous request for U.S. regulators to address concerns about Hyperliquid, a decentralized derivatives protocol. The planned offering indicates a potential shift towards integrating decentralized finance products into regulated markets, pending necessary regulatory approvals. Trade[XYZ] already provides perpetual contracts to non-U.S. users, covering various asset classes such as cryptocurrencies, equities, and commodities.
