HPE Plans EdgeConnect Rollout Across Mist and Aruba Central Through 2027

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) plans to bring HPE Networking EdgeConnect into HPE Mist during 2026 and HPE Aruba Central in the first half of 2027, linking management of wide-area, wired and wireless networks. HPE announced the plan Oct. 27, setting separate availability windows for its two networking management platforms. The rollout is intended to connect operations across network domains through a shared management framework. EdgeConnect combines software-defined wide-area networking (SD-WAN) with Security Service Edge (SSE) in a secure access service edge (SASE) offering. The combination connects branch locations and employees to applications through networking and security functions.
