Yemen’s government forces have reported that Houthi rebels launched ballistic missile attacks targeting Aden Airport and the Maashiq Presidential Palace Complex. These strikes mark an escalation in hostilities between the Houthis and Yemen’s internationally recognized government, which is backed by Saudi Arabia. Previous attacks in October had already targeted these critical infrastructures, resulting in casualties and indicating the rebels’ ongoing strategic reach. The Houthi movement, also known as Ansar Allah, has claimed their strikes aim at military facilities rather than civilian sites.
