Goldman Sachs posted stronger-than-expected third-quarter results, with earnings per share and revenue exceeding estimates as the bank recorded $18.68 billion in quarterly revenue. GAAP earnings per share reached $17.01, beating estimates by $3.92. Revenue was $1.79 billion above expectations and increased 23.1% from the year-earlier period. Annualized return on average common shareholders’ equity was 18.7% for the third quarter of 2026. Goldman Sachs released the results Oct. 13 at 7:26 a.m. ET (11:26 UTC).
