GMO Internet said Tuesday it is reviewing a suspected attacker’s post that appears linked to customers and its business, as the scope of potential exposure remains undetermined. Onamae.com Desktop Cloud provides virtual desktops used by financial traders. GMO took the service offline Oct. 21 after detecting unauthorized access to its systems. The company told customers to reset passwords and received reports that trading accounts had been used without authorization. It has not determined the full extent of the exposure. GMO has said about 27,000 servers may have been affected.
