General Motors plans to move its stock listing to Nasdaq on Nov. 17, a shift that will make the automaker eligible for possible inclusion in the Nasdaq-100 but will not guarantee a place. GM expects its final New York Stock Exchange session to end at the market close Nov. 16. Trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market is scheduled to begin Nov. 17 under the existing GM ticker. Shareholders do not need to take action. The automaker tied the transfer to its technology strategy and its aim of creating value for shareholders.
