Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has called 2026 a "phenomenal" year for the company as it witnesses a significant increase in transaction volumes and business activities. The Ripple boss has emphasized that the company has witnessed a huge surge in its transaction volumes in the last year, showing the rising demand for its blockchain-based financial infrastructure. Garlinghouse further reiterated his big plans for XRP as he foresees the crypto eventually becoming an institutional gold standard for crypto payment rails. Nevertheless, Garlinghouse admitted that XRP may not necessarily be ideal for all financial transactions.
