Ford Sets $28,350 Starting MSRP for 2027 Fathom Electric Pickup

Ford plans to equip its 2027 Fathom electric pickup with an onboard inverter projected to deliver more than 10 kilowatts of AC power to homes, enabling home energy features without a separate wall-mounted inverter. Ford announced Tuesday, Oct. 27, that the truck will have a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $28,350. Preorders are expected to open in early 2027, with availability planned for that year. The inverter will sit in the vehicle’s E-box, one of five main vehicle modules. It converts power from the truck’s battery into the alternating current used in homes.
