FMC Shares Fall 43% Premarket as Q3 Revenue Outlook Drops to $65 Million to $125 Million

FMC Corporation shares fell 42.9% in premarket trading Thursday, Oct. 15, after the agricultural sciences company lowered its third-quarter revenue outlook to $65 million to $125 million. Both ends of the revised range are $775 million below the corresponding ends of its previous forecast. The new outlook compares with FMC’s earlier estimate of $840 million to $900 million and a consensus estimate of $868 million for the quarter. The revised range is below both figures.
