Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac shares closed higher Oct. 22, when Pershing Square CEO Bill Ackman urged the Trump administration to target 2027 for ending their federal conservatorships. Fannie Mae (FNMA) finished at $4.21, up 12.57%. Freddie Mac (FMCC) rose 14.83% to $3.95. Both prices are for the regular-session close at 4 p.m. ET (2000 UTC). Fannie Mae traded between $3.63 and $4.58 on 14.75 million shares. Freddie Mac ranged from $3.30 to $4.34 on 9.29 million shares.
