Ethereum early investor moves $15.95 million to Kraken after 17,786% gain

An early Ethereum holder has moved 6,369 ETH, valued at $15.95 million, to prominent exchange Kraken, in a transaction that has drawn significant attention within the crypto community. Blockchain monitoring platform Lookonchain reported that the investor originally purchased the ETH nearly nine years ago at an average price of $14. This latest transfer signifies that the initial investment of approximately $89,166 has appreciated by about $15.86 million over the holding period. This remarkable increase translates to a gain of approximately 17,786%, or nearly 179 times the original capital.
