Ether (ETH) fell below $2,500 and traded at $2,496 at 4 a.m. ET (08:00 UTC) on Oct. 22, crossing the threshold after trading above it 15 minutes earlier. An in-house collection of Binance spot prices placed ETH at $2,514 15 minutes before the $2,496 reading. The two observations bracket the move through $2,500: the earlier price was above that level, while the later price was below it on the same exchange. At the time of the 4 a.m. observation, ETH was down 0.76% from one hour earlier.
