Ether (ETH) rose above $2,400 to $2,417 at 10:46 a.m. ET (14:46 UTC) on Oct. 19, putting the second-largest cryptocurrency by market value above the price threshold. TokenPost's own collection of Binance spot prices showed ETH at $2,392 15 minutes earlier. That quote was $8 below $2,400, while the later reading was $17 above it. The difference between the two observed prices was $25. ETH's one-hour change at the time of the $2,417 reading was 0.21%. That percentage covers a different interval from the 15-minute comparison between $2,392 and $2,417.
