ETF Outflow Pressures Bitcoin as Wintermute Flags Yield Risks

Crypto markets are losing an important source of demand as investment flows weaken, according to Wintermute. U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $678.9 million in net outflows last week, while spot Ether ETFs lost $542.2 million. Bitcoin fell 3.2% over the week, compared with a 7% decline for Ether, highlighting pressure across major digital assets. Wintermute said Bitcoin’s outflows were the largest weekly total since late June, weakening the capital-flow support that had helped the market. The withdrawals suggest that some investors are reducing exposure rather than adding to positions during the latest price decline.
