De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) published its first direct-holdings tally on Oct. 27, valuing crypto assets held for Dutch households through domestic crypto-asset service providers at €3.2 billion at the end of June 2026. That balance equaled about 1.4% of the €234.2 billion households held in listed shares, investment funds and bonds at the same time. Bitcoin (BTC) made up €1.5 billion of the crypto total, while Ether (ETH) accounted for €300 million. Virtually all measured household holdings were unbacked crypto-assets; backed stablecoins represented less than 1%.
