Vertiv stock soars 16% overnight; Here’s why

The stock of the data center infrastructure company Vertiv Holdings (NYSE: VRT) experienced a powerful rally in the extended session leading toward the Wednesday, October 28, morning bell, rising 16.13% from $208.56 at the latest close to $242.20 at press time. This move came as a continuation of the 9% recovery that started late last week, which left VRT shares 3.50% in the red on the weekly chart and 14.54% down on the monthly chart. Still, the pre-market move helped erase all losses suffered since October 9.
