Ashley Hinson, a Republican U.S. Representative and Senate nominee, has been accused by the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) of voting seven times to continue military involvement in Iran. This claim comes amid the closely contested 2026 Iowa U.S. Senate race between Hinson and Democrat Josh Turek. The assertion, made via social media, highlights her voting record on resolutions related to the Iran war, which could influence voter sentiment in a race where polling shows a near tie. The source of the claim, however, comes from social media, potentially affecting its impact on market perceptions.
