DISCO Sees 28.2% Revenue Gain; July-September Standalone Shipments Hit Quarterly Record

Japan’s DISCO projected April-December revenue to rise 28.2% year over year to 389.5 billion yen, and separately reported a quarterly record in standalone shipments of its semiconductor processing equipment. The company issued the outlook alongside its first-half results on Oct. 22. It forecast operating profit of 174.7 billion yen for April through December, up 38.4% from a year earlier, and shipments of 434.2 billion yen. For the six months ended Sept. 30, consolidated revenue increased 32.1% to 257.058 billion yen. Operating profit rose 47.9% to 116.639 billion yen, producing a 45.4% operating margin.
