David Schwartz Posts XRP Train Photo as Ripple Swell Runs in New York

Ripple CTO Emeritus David Schwartz posted an XRP-branded train photo from New York’s Times Square–42nd Street station on Oct. 28 as Ripple’s annual Swell conference was underway in the city. The image showed Schwartz alongside Ayo Akinyele, Head of Engineering at Ripple X. Schwartz captioned the post, “Time to get on the @XRP train!” Replies ranged from enthusiasm to caution. Some commenters suggested the train had already left, while others said they had boarded. The post followed Schwartz’s Oct. 19 message marking the launch of XRP’s official X account with a Grateful Dead joke .
