DATA Network Brings 250 Million AI-Data Contributions to Sui

DATA Network will move its AI-training-data protocol onto Sui after a $30 million investment from Sui Foundation, adding Trace’s large on-chain registry and retiring the network’s standalone blockchain after the upgrade. Trace has recorded more than 250 million contributions since launching in June 2026 and processes more than 3 million receipts per day on average. The registry records the origin of AI-training data and the rights attached to contributions. The migration will make DATA Network a protocol operating natively on Sui.
