Dark Defender Says XRP and Stablecoins Serve Different Roles at Ripple Prime

Crypto analyst Dark Defender framed XRP and stablecoins as having separate functions in Ripple Prime, while his Nov. 3 post listed RLUSD among the platform’s collateral options and named three additional stablecoins as upcoming additions. The assets he listed as collateral options were XRP, U.S. Treasuries, gold and RLUSD. He identified RLEUR, RLJPY and RLGBP as additions still to come. Dark Defender called XRP “the only Asset in that lineup.” He separately characterized stablecoins as cash and XRP as the collateral leg, arguing that the two functions differ.
