Ripple CEO Says RLUSD Competes With Stablecoins, Not XRP

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said Ripple USD (RLUSD) competes with other stablecoins, not XRP, and wants its use cases on the XRP Ledger in a Nov. 3 post on X. Garlinghouse wrote, “RLUSD isn’t competing with XRP. It’s competing with other stablecoins.” He added that he wants “those use cases running on the XRPL.” Garlinghouse was replying to crypto commentator WrathofKahneman, who had argued that more liquidity on the XRP Ledger could make XRP easier to use over time.
