Musk denies ever telling Binance users to move their funds, as Binance founder CZ calls out fabricated online chatter Changpeng Zhao, the founder of Binance, publicly disputed a story that claimed he and Elon Musk had traded comments about users moving their funds. Zhao, widely known by his initials CZ, said the exchange never took place and pointed to the material as artificially generated. Elon Musk also addressed the claim directly. He said he never urged Binance users to withdraw or relocate their holdings, contradicting the version of events that had spread online.
