Bitcoin edged higher during the overnight and Asia session Oct. 10, but the broader crypto market declined as total capitalization fell and derivatives traders recorded nearly $100 million in liquidations. Bitcoin (BTC) traded at $82,675 at 1:03 a.m. ET (05:03 UTC), up 0.44% over 24 hours. Total crypto market capitalization stood at $2.80 trillion, down 2.45%, while marketwide trading volume reached $70.98 billion. The move followed a sharper decline in the previous session , when total crypto market capitalization fell 3.80% to $2.79 trillion and liquidations reached $740.7 million.
