Bitcoin (BTC) rose 1.37% to $84,186 as of 1:04 a.m. ET (05:04 UTC) Oct. 12, while total crypto market capitalization fell 2.35% to $2.83 trillion. The mixed move left the market's largest asset higher even as the broader market contracted. Trading volume reached $58.32 billion over the 24-hour period. Bitcoin represented 59.7% of the total crypto market, while Ether (ETH) accounted for 11.1%. Ether rose 2.34% to $2,568, XRP gained 1.62% to $1.42 and BNB increased 0.90% to $755.46. Solana (SOL) advanced 3.32% to $113.34, while Dogecoin (DOGE) climbed 2.75% to $0.0880.
