Longtime cryptocurrency critic Elizabeth Warren is set to lead one of the Senate's most powerful committees, according to a Nov. 5 report by The Wall Street Journal. The WSJ report by Corrie Driebusch and Dylan Tokar described Warren's 20-year record of clashing with Wall Street, holding bankers accountable, delving into private equity and examining big financial firms. Chairing the Senate Banking Committee would also give Warren more power to conduct investigations and issue subpoenas.
