COLDCARD Hack Targets Official X Account With Fake Wallet Warning

The COLDCARD Hack became an issue for Bitcoin holders on October 11, 2026, after the X account of Coldcard, a Bitcoin hardware wallet producer, was hacked and a false security alert was posted. According to the false alert , there were vulnerabilities in the firmware of the Mk4, Mk5, and Q devices, and users should withdraw their money using a fake website. The company removed the post and called on users to avoid clicking on the link, which is now considered phishing.
