CoinGecko cuts x402 crypto data costs by 50% to $0.005 per call

The data aggregator halved the price of its pay-per-request API endpoints and added USDC payments on Polygon alongside Base and Solana CoinGecko just made its pay-as-you-go crypto data a lot cheaper. The company has cut the price of its experimental x402 API endpoints from $0.01 USDC to $0.005 USDC per request, a 50% reduction. It also added a third way to pay. Developers can now settle in USDC on Polygon, joining existing support for Base and Solana . The pricing update applies to CoinGecko’s x402 endpoints, which the company still labels experimental.
